Stephen’s Silence Will Be Just A Twitter Stutter

Day four and Stephen Fry‘’s self-imposed Twitter exile continues. His close to 2 million Twitterati are suffering from withdrawal symptoms and William Hill are predicting that the humorous hiatus continues for a little while longer, offering 4/7 that Fry fails to tweet before midnight on the 7th November. But the good news for his legion of followers is that Hills think that he will tweet before Christmas, with odds of 1/6 that he tweets before midnight on the 24th December.

“For such a dedicated tweeter, Stephen Fry must be going through cold turkey at the moment but the odds suggest that once this furore dies down, he will be reinstated as a National Treasure and the tweeting should commence sooner rather than later,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
