Ultimate I’m a Celebrity Betting….

I’m A Celebrity is set to mark its 10th anniversary by having an ultimate show starring a veritable feast of former winners. William Hill have opened betting on who will win the show, which is due to be screened later in the year and make Stacey Solomon the 2/1 favourite.

Joe Swash is the 4/1 second favourite with Gino D’Acampo offered at 5/1. After getting the boot from Dancing On Ice at the weekend, things do not appear to be looking up for Kerry Katona and she is the 20/1 outsider to be crowned Queen Of The Jungle.

“The Duchess Of Dagenham’s efforts on last year’s show endeared her to the nation and with those exploits still fresh in the mind, it would appear that she will be the celeb to beat should she enter the jungle once more,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Ultimate I’m A Celebrity Odds:

2/1 Stacey Solomon; 4/1 Joe Swash; 5/1 Gino D’Acampo; 7/1 Matt Willis; 8/1 Christopher Biggins; 10/1 Joe Pasquale; 12/1 Phil Tufnell; 16/1 Tony Blackburn; 20/1 Kerry Katona

(Others on request. Bets void if celebrity does not take part)

Katy Perry Favourite for X-Factor Role

Katy Perry is 7/2 to be announced as the next permanent judge on the X-Factor amidst the uncertainty as to whether Simon or Cheryl return for the 2011 UK show.

X-Factor favourite

Gary Barlow recently finished top of a poll to find out who the nation would prefer as a new judge and he is currently the 4/1 joint second favourite with former judge, Sharon Osbourne. Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams and Paula Abdul are all 8/1 with Michael Buble at 10/1.

“Katy Perry was very well liked when she appeared on last year’s show and the odds suggest that she is in pole position to either take over from a departing judge or become a fifth judge on the show,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Next X-Factor Judge Odds:

7/2 Katy Perry; 4/1 Gary Barlow; 4/1 Sharon Osbourne; 8/1 Nicole Scherzinger; 8/1 Robbie Williams; 8/1 Paula Abdul; 10/1 Michael Buble; 14/1 Sinitta; 16/1 Leona Lewis; 16/1 Geri Halliwell; 16/1 Kylie Minogue; 20/1 Pixie Lott; 20/1 Lily Allen; 20/1 Natalie Imbruglia; 20/1 Ronan Keating; 20/1 Kelly Rowland; 20/1 Lulu; 25/1 Charlotte Church; 25/1 Alexandra Burke; 25/1 Emma Bunton; 50/1 Victoria Beckham; 50/1 Madonna; 50/1 Pete Waterman; 66/1 Eminem

Paxman C Word Sparks TV Betting Market

Jeremy Paxman dropped a foul mouthed faux-pas on Monday night’s Newsnight, the third BBC presenter to say the ‘C word’ in a couple of months!

Here is the Paxman C word error (rhyms with hunt)

Bookmakers William Hill make the confrontational presenter their 6/1 favourite to be the next BBC TV presenter to turn the airwaves blue. Weatherman, Thomasz Schafernacker and One Show host, Chris Evans, are both 8/1 to mispronounce ‘cut’ or ‘hunt’ or another similar word, to be left red-faced (and blue mouthed) on live television.

“We have seen three BBC presenters utter the most controversial of all expletives in live situations and it cannot be long before another presenter opens his/her mouth, only to plant a foot firmly in it,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “Can it have been coincidental that Paxman’s verbal violation came minutes after the same word had been uttered twice during BBC 2’s ‘Episodes’?”

William Hill Next BBC Presenter To Drop C Bomb On Live TV:

6/1 Jeremy Paxman (Newsnight), 8/1 Thomasz Schafernacker (weatherman), 8/1 Chris Evans (The One Show), 12/1 George Aligiah (BBC News @ 6), 12/1 Huw Edwards (BBC News @ 10), 14/1 Charlie Stayt (BBC Breakfast), 14/1, Gavin Esler (Newsnight), 14/1, Matt Baker (The One Show), 14/1 Bill Turnbull (BBC Breakfast), 20/1 Alex Jones (The One Show), 20/1 Chris Hollins (Breakfast), 20/1 Kate Silverton (BBC News @ 10), 20/1 Emily Maitlis (Newsnight), 25/1 Kirsty Wark (Newsnight), 25/1 Julia Somerville (News At 10) , 25/1 Susanna Reid (BBC Breakfast), 25/1 Fiona Bruce (News @ 6; News @ 10), 25/1 Sophie Raworth (BBC News @ 1, 25/1 Sian Williams (Breakfast)

Dancing On Ice Betting Update….

William Hill have slashed the price of VC hero Johnson Beharry winning Dancing On Ice from 50/1 to 16/1 following a massive gamble today. “The story is that Johnson is getting more votes than anyone else and if the rumours are correct you can see him going on to win it,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

William Hill Dancing On Ice: 1/2 Sam Attwater, 9/2 Laura Hamilton, 10/1 Chloe Madeley, 12/1 Vanilla Ice, 14/1 Jennifer Metcalfe, 16/1 Johnson Beharry, 25/1 Kerry Katona, 33/1 Jeff Brazier, 50/1 Dave Vitty, 66/1 Denise Welch

Davina McCall has ruled herself out of the running to present the new Big Brother show on Channel 5. Bookmakers William Hill make former Big Brother’s Little Brother host, Emma Willis, the 5/4 favourite, while her co-host on the channel four spin-off, George Lamb, is 6/1. Big Brother 2 winner, Brian Dowling is the 4/1 second favourite and former Celebrity Big Brother winner and jilted Casanova, Alex Reid is 16/1.

“It would obviously make sense for the producers of the next show to hire a presenter who has been involved in the show before and it would not be too much of a shock to see Alex Reid presenting the first reincarnation of BB in 2011. He will clearly have plenty of time on his hands in the near future and he could fill the need for either a male or female host,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Day Broken – When Will DayBreak Be Axed By ITV?

The audience for ITV1′s troubled breakfast programme Daybreak sank below the 600,000 barrier for the third morning running yesterday, Wednesday 27 October according to The Guardian.

Daybreak: Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley.

Bookies William Hill now think it is a question of when rather than if ITV pull Daybreak and as a result are betting on the month the show is pulled. December is the 11/10 favourite with November 8/1 and January offered at 2/1. If ITV do decide to cut the programme then Hills are 10/11 that both Adrian & Christine go at the same time.

“Their is no way to dress it up, the Daybreak viewing figures are dire and we think that it is now a question of when the programme is pulled rather than if it is!” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

Which Month Will the last Daybreak Be Shown? (Include both Presenters)*: 8/1 November, 11/10 December, 2/1 January, 7/2 February

Which Presenter Will Be Sacked By ITV First?: 10/11 Both, 2/1 Christine, 5/2 Adrian
