4.05 Lingfield with the cheek pieces back on and the strong pace set up MAO CHIN TIRE is an excellent back to lay at least a point and a half in this, he doesnt always find what he looks as though he’s going to so you may want to equal out the profit.

3.55 Catterick – Quite a strong pace anticipated here and it could pay to be with one slightly off the speed despite the tracks front running nature. I will be advising a play early in the race so check back for an early update during the race.

3.35 Bangor i have decided on no play here

again an easy trade could not understand why it was still 2.6 down the back straight. Again hope you got plenty a cracking day so far

3.20 Catterick – TRUCKERS HALL, short term back to lay here. Tom George’s horses have been held up by the weather in January but are stripping much fitter now. This horse will travel much better than his market rival BARAFUNDLE, who is much more of a sluggard than our back to lay. I suggest a back at around 3.2 pre play laying off at 2.5 in play. This should be readily achievable

3.00 Bangor – Again lack of pace here could produce a funny result. Cant see the Jonjo O’Neill trained BRAVEHEART MOVE being off today as he is clearly being handicapped so I will be taking this on at shorter than Betfair SP in running. I will update early in play for this race, ideally a good gallop would suit the favourite D

2.55 Lingfield – The gallop wont be breakneck here with Maggie Kate, Hart Of Gold and Sonhador likely to be up there early. While all three of these arent to be trusted the play here will be laying anything here held up off the pace as I dont think they will have a gallop to run at. Look at anything fancied that is ridden towards the back and aim to pinch the eccies for the day

made very hard work of that, we were lucky because Monaco Dream didnt want to go past and she must be taken on in future but not complaining i did top up at odds against in running so a nice start

1.45 Lingfield – The Mark Johnston trained ABERGAVENNY should have no problem in winning this providing he has learned from his debut where things didnt drop right for him. A lot of this yards runners can improve massively for their first starts and they think this one is a decent horse. If the horse comes out of the traps better and is up with the pace then I will top up my already substantial bet in play providing the odds are near Betfair SP. Price is King remember

4.30 Lingfield Absolutely no pace in this race and you should be looking to support anything on the front end. I tend to like backing the first two or three on the front end because the gallop should be sedate here.

didnt think the race went exactly to plan but we’ve still copped the money, didnt think they went that fast.

4.00 Lingfield – We’ve lost a front runner in WOTASHIRTFULL but I’ve had another 400/300 about the trio ANNA OF KIEV, GARSTANG and EVEN BOLDER winning the race given the strong pace going to be set here by Master Lightfoot, Billy Red an Incomparable. GARSTANG will have first run at the leaders with ANNE OF KIEV and EVEN BOLDER closing fast late. I expect the pace to collapse but feel free in running to watch and make a decision.

Been a quiet day so far but back for the best race of the day the 4.00 at Lingfield.

3.05 Doncaster – BARWELL BRIDGE looks a certainty if settling and ridden handy by Timmy Murphy. Should be different class to these just ran too free last time in better company.

1.40 Lingfield THUNDERSTRUCK easy back to lay. Lone front runner and will trade half a point shorter by early in the back straight, the key here is not to be too greedy

1.20 Doncaster – If OVERTURN settles here will be an easy back to lay. Keep your eye on him to make sure he settles at least a point profit here if he does.

clearly no world beater, had the run of the race there, clearly one to be against next time also.

1.05 Lingfield – BEYOND looked pony size in the paddock at Wolves and although this looks a very bad race I don’t think he has a deal of scope. People are looking at the GREFRIARSCHORISTA form and thinking that on that footing he looks a shoe in. However for a horse making its debut late in the year at wolverhampton tells me this is no world beater and I’m a layer at 1.67

4.20 Huntngdon – GALOSHES very interesting here leaving David Gandolfo, trip and ground will suit. Gandolfo wasnt a good trainer and this horse rates as a smmall win bet here. Odds of 10.0 make appeal

4.00 Lingfield – The pace set up here should make BILBERRY hard to beat here, no need to go in before the off. Goodbye Cash, Fine Silk and Johnnie Skull will be making the pace so if they do go quick then it should be elementary for BILBERRY as a back bet in running.

at the prices the trade potential has gone out of this, at 2.6 it was a bet but now we are nearing our target getting out price

3.30 Lingfield – Very easy back to lay here on FREEDOM FIRE has potential to drop down to even money before the straight given the way he travels. The play is to get out before the straight as we dont want to find out whether he stays or finds today.

The next race covered will be the 3.30 Lingfield

2.45 Navan – KING VIC is a thorough stayer so the stronger the gallop would be better as hes dropping back two furlongs in trip. Certainly potential to go bigger than his current price of 4.1. Again like SUNRISE LYRIC earlier, a slow gallop will get him beaten.

2.30 Lingfield – Should be an easy lead here for CLEAR SAILING, quick back before the off and lay at 10 -20 ticks shorter shouldnt be a problem. If the horse is taken on for the lead or pulls too hard then dont be afraid to take a small loss. Ths horse is thriving though

2.20 Huntingdon – Keep your eye on BOOMERANG @ 27.0 if he jumps better in the early stages they backed him into favourite last time and jumped awful. His hurdles form would give him a very good chance in this. ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES is a thorough stayer and if the gallop is sound and he’s in contention before the back straight back him even if he looks to be under pressure, he will stay right to the line..

Slow gallop was the undoing of SUNRISE LYRIC hope you made plenty either laying it or trading it

2.15 Navan – ACAPULCO very easy back to lay, this horse was a smart horse on the flat but refuses to go past so far over hurdles. This is his much easiest task to day and taking a bet before the off and laying back between 1.3 and 1.4 should be easy to do.

2.00 Lingfield – SUNRISE LYRIC needs much further than this trip and will be off the bridle at some point. A slow gallop could be his undoing here, if they go quick expect him to be ridden along and outpaced a little so we can go in at a bigger price. He is definitely the best of these but could get beaten if the gallop is slow. We want a quick gallop to get him off the bridle so the price will drift.
