Bookies Paddy Power have slashed the odds on Miss Puerto Rico Jennifer Colon being crowned Miss World following a surge in support for the stunning brunette.

Bet on Miss World
The twenty-one year old beauty who boasts fine art and classical music as her ‘special interests’ is now the red-hot favourite to win the pageant at 11/10.
Miss Puerto Rico’s closest contender in the betting is Miss Mexico 23 year-old Perla Beltran at 5/1. Other beauties in the bookies top ten include Miss South Africa at 10/1, Miss India at 14/1, Miss Slovakia, Miss Aruba and Miss Philippines at 16/1 and Miss Malta and Miss Croatia at 18/1.
Meanwhile Miss England and niece of world champion sprinter Linford Christie, Rachel Christie is 20/1 to go the distance while Miss Ireland Laura Patterson is further down the list at 50/1 with Paddy Power to be crowned this year’s Miss World.
Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power said: “All the betting so far seems to be for Miss Puerto Rico. Unfortunately it’s looking unlikely that Laura will follow in Rosanna Davison’s footsteps to bring the crown home.”
The winner of Miss World will be announced on Saturday 12th December from Johannesburg South Africa.
