Lewis Hamilton is 5/4 favourite to regain his World F1 Title with Stan James after his win in the rain in the Belgian Grand Prixcearlier this afternoon. Lewis Hamilton won an expectedly chaotic Belgian Grand Prix after staying out of trouble whilst behind him three of his title rivals failed to score a point.

It was McLaren star Hamilton’s third win of the year and he is now three points clear of Red Bull’s Mark Webber who finished 1.5secs adrift of the Briton as the 44-lap race ended in wet conditions. Hamilton is now 31 points clear of Sebastian Vettel who was down in a lowly 15th after making another big mistake. After the German incurred a drive-through penalty after crashing into Jenson Button who was sent into retirement. Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso also spun out late on, the Spaniard now 41 points adrift of Hamilton.
Head of PR at Stan James, Charlie McCann: ” We have cut Lewis Hamilton to 5/4 from 16/5 after Spa and what might be of more interest to punters is the fact that Hamilton remains a 12/1 shot for Sports Personality of the Year. Both recent Champions Hamilton and Button have narrowly missed out on the award in recent years and 12/1 looks a tad big unless Murray wins at Flushing Meadow.”
