Fame and Glory on Trial for Derby – Sunday 10th May

Will it be Fame and Glory at Epsom?

Will it be Fame and Glory at Epsom?

Fame and Glory will put his credentials on the line on Sunday in The Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial at Leopardstown on Sunday. He bolted up in the Ballysax stakes and is the talking horse from Ballydoyle for the Derby. We have already pointed out that this is well thought of at Ballydoyle.

Aidan O’Brien is taking the same route to Epsom as he did with Galileo and High Chaparral, which offers the biggest clue yet that this is their best horse for Epsom. Certainly vibes from Coolmoore are that this is the one to follow from their camp at least!

The Derby market will change but Fame and Glory is currently 6-1 for the Investec Derby and victory on Sunday will see him shorten.

He should, if the vibes from Ballydoyle are correct. Get on Fame and Glory for Sunday, and you may want to take a price for The Derby, if he wins he will be short price favourite.
