Despite the delay, the Kempton stage remains firmly set for Kauto to record an unparalleled five in one of the decade’s most eagerly-anticipated events, with Tony McCoy set to partner the white-faced superstar in his history-making attempts.

Familiar names return from the previous renewal, with Albertas Run, Nacarat, Madison Du Berlais taking the stand – complete with young pretenders Long Run, Planet Of Sound, The Nightingale and Riverside Theatre adding further excitement to the equation.

Irish raider Forpadydeplasterer completes the line-up, however compatriot Sizing Europe is an unfortunate absentee, along with veteran Ollie Magern.
