Liam Payne will be hoping it will be second time lucky as he made it through to the X-Factor boot camp in tonight’s show. Having previously been dumped out of the show two years ago, William Hill now make him the 8/1 second favourite behind Gamu Nhengu who is 7/1 to win the show.
Cher Lloyd wowed the judges and audience with her performance tonight and Hills make her the 12/1 joint third favourite with Mary Byrne and Matt Cardle. The French Jedward, Twem have been made 66/1 by Hills.
Finally we have seen someone emerge who can compete with Gamu, who has been Top of the Pops since day one with our punters,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
William Hill X-Factor Odds: 7/1 Gamu Nhengu; 8//1 Liam Payne; 12/1 Mary Byrne; 12/1 Cher Lloyd; 12/1 Matt Cardle; 14/1 The Reason; 20/1 Katie Waissel; 20/1 Holly Burns; 20/1 John Adeyele; 22/1 BAR
With Paddy Power, Cher is favourite…..
Paddy Power have installed who they call a Cheryl Cole look-a-like Cher Lloyd as their new favourite to win this year’s X Factor. I am not sure that is too kind on Cheryl, but the girl can sing.
The 16-year-old rap singer who wowed the judges with a feisty rendition of Soulja Boy’s Turn My Swag On is now the 9/2 favourite to follow in the footsteps of Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke and win the show outright.
Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power said: “The standard of this year’s contestant’s just gets better and better each week. Cher shone in her audition. She’s completely unique and already online forums are raving about her. She’s now the one to beat.”
Paddy Power have made return ho peful and fellow 16-year-old Liam Payne, who made it to Simon Cowell’s house in 2008, their 7/1 2nd favourite to win the show. Liam impressed Simon with a polished performance of Michael Buble’s version of Cry Me A River.
Mary Byrne, Ireland’s answer to Susan Boyle, is still amongst the favourites in the betting at 10/1.
