Despite having been raised 11lb since his last win in June, Sir Mark Prescott’s charge finished a determined second behind the upwardly-mobile Resentful Angel. A course-and-distance scorer in May, albeit off a considerably lower mark, Speed Dating is probably now best over this mile-and-a-half trip.
