F1 Betting Update

The Red Bull team once more dominated qualifying this aftenoon at the Hungary Grand Prix with Ferrari taking the second row on the grid. William Hill have shortened the odds of Sebastian Vettel from 6/4 to 4/7 to win the Hungarian Grand Prix. Mark Webber is second favourite at 9/4 and Fernando Alonso is 6/1 third favourite.

Vettel has now been installed as the favourite for the Drivers Championship for the first time this year at 8/5 ahead of Lewis Hamilton, who seems to be holding on for dear life to his lead, priced at 5/2. Red Bull are alsothe 4/6 favourites to win the Constructors Championship ahead of McLaren at 6/4 and Ferrari are 8/1.

“The odds are firmly in the Red Bulls’ favour now, and having demolished the field so overwhelmingly in qualifying, it seems that only the fractious partnership between the two can stand between them and victory tomorrow,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
