2:45 Rebel Soldier, Win. This is one from the notebook. Jeremy Noseda’s charge trotted up last time at York, having been very well backed to do so. Rebel Soldier looked better the further they went at York and has been kept back for this, he could be actually better than this Group 3 grade. I am sure he is and I think he will win readily here. This is my best bet of the day and with Ryan Moore in the saddle, yes please! (NAP)
4:00 Zebedee, Win. This is easy, as long as Zebedee doesn’t bounce he will win. Jokes aside it is another Richard Hannon two year-old with the mighty Richard Hughes aboard who can win this Group 3 contest. Officially the highest rated horse in the race, he won a listed even last time and though this is a tougher test, but only one defeat in four career starts and from the Hannon stable I am seriously interested in the brilliantly named Zebedee.
