Former Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann is believed to be heading Fulham‘s wish-list, as their search to find Roy Hodgson’s successor continues.
According to The People, chairman Mohamed Al Fayed is determined to appoint a pedigree manager and is reportedly not favouring a move for former England manager Sven Goran-Eriksson who took charge of the Ivory Coast at World Cup 2010. Stan James cut Jurgen Klinsmann from 66 to 12/1 and now 6/1 to be the next Fulham boss.
Head of PR Charlie McCann: “It is quite ironic that Klinsmann who was once approached with a view to take over at Liverpool has been backed off the boards today for the Fulham job made available by the move of Roy Hodgson to Anfield. Eriksson remains an uneasy 6/4 favourite and it may not be the one-horse race some considered a couple of days ago.”
