Television presenter Christine Bleakley‘s departure from the BBC has ended weeks of speculation about her future on the cosy and popular teatime programme The One Show. The star is set to be reunited with her former co-host Adrian Chiles on the GMTV sofa when it relaunches later in the year.
Following the defection of Christine Bleakley to ITV Myleene Klass has become the 1/2 odds on favourite at William Hill to join Jason Manford on the One Show. Hills had originally offered 3/1 this morning, and 100% of bets have been placed on her. Hills are so confident that anyone else is being offered at 6/4.
As far as we are concerned, Myleene is the only contender. She is odds on to be the next presenter and it has become a Myleene versus the rest situation, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
