World Cup Song Betting Update

Bookies have been inundated with requests from punters to back Dizee Rascal & James Corden’s World Cup song ‘shout for England‘ with one bold punter looking to place a £3,000 bet. As a result Hills have cut the price from 1/3 to 2/7 with Robbie Williams & Russell Brand the nearest challenger at 4/1.

It looks like Shout for England will be number one, but in my view Three Lions is miles better as a football song. There is no doubt though that the Dizee Rascal song will be number one. Here is what the bookies and retailers have to say;

HMV’s Gennaro Castaldo comments: ” Dizzee and Corden are an irresistible combination and the other contenders will be hard pressed to beat them in the World Cup chant battle!”
“This has really caught the public’s imagination and we are taking a similar number of bets as we do for the Christmas number one,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
