A big century from England‘s Jonathan Trott, his second in as many Tests in England put England in a commanding position on 362-4 at Lord’s on the opening day of the two-match series against Bangladesh.

Trott looked in top form but Alastair Cook was out cheaply in only the fifth over of the match. Trott finished the day on an unbeaten 175 from 270 balls faced. He is now at the crease with Eoin Morgan.

The opposition is weak and this is a huge chance for Jonathan Trott to knock a double ton and for the exciting Eion Morgan to score a maiden test century at Lords. The fielding is poor and the pressure is off, relatively speaking. Trott is as exciting a batsman as England has had for many years,
