Free Horseracing Tips

By Carl Harris

It would have been my Grand-dad’s Birthday today, he would have been 96 years old. I only mention that because he is the one who got me hooked on horseracing as a kid in the 70′s. Sometimes I wish he hadn’t but most of the time I am so glad he did.

The Cheltenham Festival 2010 going forecast is encouraging, it looks like, if they have it right, just about perfect jumping ground for the festival in two weeks time.I would not want to be in Denman’s shoes looking at Kauto Star on Gold Cup Day on that forecast going. If ever a horse looked a banker in the Gold Cup then Kauto Star is 2010 looks like one. I am very keen on the Banker four timer, Dunguib, Master Minded, Big Bucks and Kauto Star. That will give us some interest.

Dreams of Cheltenham are close but sadly look a million miles away given the cards on Thursday. Ludlow and Taunton, the clue is in the venues, but I think we have a bet or two if we throw in the all-weather.

2:30 Ludlow, Hucking Hero- Win. Having won on the all-weather last time, Hucking Hero is clearly in good form for Tim Vaughan having won over jumps at Taunton on his first start for the yard. Tony McCoy is aboard in this novices’ hurdle which he should readily win. The Henderson runner rates as the main danger but on his last time out performance I would suggest that Hucking Hero should be too good. I only hope the price is right for us. Banker and NAP of the day material.

That is it for me today. I will wait to see if anything comes through, but I am looking forward to Friday and Saturday. Super kenny may well run at Newbury on Friday then it is the Greatwood Hurdle, where I will be in attendance. A long drive from York!
