A great weekend of horseracing and we have not bad cards, relatively speaking today. Lingfield stages an inspection ahead of its meeting over jumps, which as the best meeting of the day would be a bad do if we were to lose it. Southwell also stages a National Hunt card with Wolves making up the numbers.
Some big pointers for the Cheltenham Festival, not least the fact that Dunguib is as good thing for the supreme novices hurdle after that easy win at Leopardstown. How good could he actually be?

After such a good couple of days it is down to Earth somewhat with much lower grade stuff. I plan to take it easy but have three on the short list for Monday. Here are your free horseracing tips for Monday, 8 February.

1:50 Lingfield, Its A Classic- Win. A penalty should not worry this one who, if running like at Towcester, will take some stopping. Well backed last time he won by 30 lengths and looks in great form at present. I guess the doubt is the weight in the heavy going but the conditions suit just fine and I think he has plenty in hand here. Best bet of the day.

1:50 Lingfield, Its A Classic- Win
3:40 Southwell, Banjaxed Girl- Win. This is one horse in great form. She is a vert decent novice who has won four of her last five starts for Nigel Twiston-Davies.She has far more experience than this field and comes here after being an easy winner at Uttoxeter on very testing ground a little over a week ago. This is a stronger race with Dream Eater respected but for me this is a good mare who I want to follow.
