Another round of Premier League matches take place this week, starting on Bank Holiday Monday. Chelsea failed to win again and Manchester United and Arsenal did, so they close the gap. It is looking tight at the top, is Chelsea now is a crisis? They drew 0-0 with Birmingham on Saturday and Ancellotti was not a happy man. They face Fulham next who recently upset Manchester United.
Premier League Odds:
WITH ARSENAL and Manchester United both winning, William Hill have lengthened favourites Chelsea’s odds from 4/5 to 10/11 and now make Manchester United 9/4 second favourites, with Arsenal at 7/2.Hills also offer 33/1 Man City; 50/1 Liverpool and Villa; 66/1 Spurs.
WAYNE ROONEY is now 9/4 favourite to be Premiership top scorer with William Hill who also offer 11/4 Drogba; 3/1 Defoe and Torres; 7/1 Bent.
HULL ARE NOW 2/5 favourites to go down (7/4 to stay up) with William Hill who also offer 4/7 Portsmouth (5/4); 6/5 Burnley and Wolves; 11/4 West Ham; 10/3 Bolton; 4/1 Wigan.

An interesting round of games on offer and if results go the way of recent weeks then predicting them is almost impossible. My strategy is for a low cost multi-bet this week, with the obvious ones and I will have a decent bet on Aston Villa.
Villa are a decent looking 7/4 to beat out of sorts Liverpool at Villa Park. Arsenal beat them easily 3-0 at the weekend, but Liverpool are not the team they were and look vulnerable, certainly away from home. Rafa Benitez still thinks Liverpool can finish in the top four, but opposing Liverpool is a sound plan at the moment.
I will look to lay Liverpool giving us the draw on side too. I can not see Liverpool winning at Villa Park, certainly not on recent form. Villa look at big price at 7/4.
My multi-bet is as follows;
- Tottenham
- Manchester City
- Arsenal
- Manchester United
I have left out Chelsea and indeed Villa. I think these are the safest bets of the week.
