What a great day! Kauto Star beat Imperial Commander in a ding-dong finish to land a third Betfair Chase! We also landed a charity bet for Children In Need- 5/4

Viking Racing gave you a free trial this weekend and we advised three bets;

Diamond Harry e/w- Won 9/2
Zaynar- Won 9/4
Kauto Star- advised 5/4 Won 8/13

Three bets landed and already we have had an email saying that one caller had a £50 each-way treble, well done, what a day. We now move on to Aintree on Sunday.

IAN ROBINSON, one of the six owners of Imperial Commander, was on Sunday still waitingto see the official print of the photo-finish to the Betfair Chase to examine the nose verdict that went Kauto Star’s way at Haydock on Saturday.

Robinson, from the Our Friends In The North syndicate, does not dispute judge Mark Ritchie-Noakes’s decision to award Kauto Star victory but only a photocopy was available to connections after the race.

“I haven’t seen a print that shows any clarity,” he said. “It was obviously verytight. I’m not carping about the decision but I would like a copy. All they had were print-outs from the computer.

“I asked about where we would get them and I was told there was a technical problem and I would have to apply to RaceTech.”

He added: “We don’t want to be portrayed as owners that are causing problems. We haven’t been to the BHA. All we ask for is a copy of the print, and to be honest, rather sadly, we want to put it on our walls after Imperial Commander ran against a legend like Kauto Star and got so close.”
