A pretty quiet day for me on Sunday and thoughts are now firmly on the forthcoming jumps season. Ffos Las is an excellent addition to the National Hunt calendar with the best of the action being staged at the welsh venue today.
2.10 Ffos Las Aohna, Win
Aohna (2.10) is the stand out choice in the first race with Alan King and Robert Thornton teaming up. The duo will have another good season and will win many better races than this but nonetheless Aohna should land this maiden hurdle.
Jumping at Ffos Las on Sunday
3.55 Ffos Las- Sambulando, Win (NAP)
Another stand out bet is Sambulando (3.55) who is seeking the three timer under Sam Thomas. The way he won at Cartmel and then at Uttoxeter suggests that Tom George has a good horse on his hands. I rate Sambulando (3.55) as a really good bet and if the price is right I suggest a significant investment. Sambulando is my best bet of the day.
