Total Impact the one on Monday….
I thought it was a great weekend, Rip Van Winkle was a really good winner of the QEII and Sunday was, for once, a really quality day of racing. It is though back to Earth with a bump on Monday. We have action at Bath, Brighton and Wolverhampton. No real quality and no big enthusiasm from me to get involved. I have found only one bet on Monday but will not pile in too heavily.
2.40 Bath- Total Impact, Win
Richard Fahey has had a good season and can add to his impressive total of 152 winners with Total Impact (2.40) who drops in to a claimer. He was placed in handicap company on his previous two outings, showing his mark of 86 is deserved. In that context he should have too much class and is well in at the weights. Obe Gold is one that I have been laying since leaving Dandy Nicholls and will be pressing the pink button again today.

The week does get better and certainly the weekend is a very attractive prospect with Sea The Stars now very possible to run in the Arc.
