Johnny Murtagh has been confirmed as the rider of Age Of Aquarius in the Ladbrokes St Leger at Doncaster on Saturday. We told you that he would shorten and now he is favourite.
The Aidan O’Brien-trained colt has ousted Kite Wood as ante-post favourite for the Doncaster Classic after bookmakers reported solid support.

The money for the Grand Prix de Paris runner-up suggested he would be the mount of Murtagh, a booking later confirmed by the rider’s agent, Eddie Byrne, who said:
“Johnny is going to Doncaster and will ride Age Of Aquarius.”
This is great news for backers of Age of Aquarius who took our advice this morning. He will likely go off 11/8 favourite.
