England have set Australia a total that requires a world record fourth innings for them to stop England winning the Ashes. With two full days left, the Ashes must surely be coming back, as they did in 2005 to England.

Trott- 100 on debut
England lost three quick wickets last night, but Strauss and Trott came out and batted well setting up a big England lead. Jonathan Trott scored 41 in the first innings and made his maiden test 100 on debut. A fantastic knock. The lead is well over 500 and with two days to go England are firm favourites to win the test match and with it the Ashes, 2-1.
England declared on 373-9 leaving a target of 546 for Australia to get, With two full days left England are firm favourites to win, but a great two days of cricket is in store and there is no way the Australian team will lie down.
