Well what can I say about the cricket, rubbish. Losing by over an innings at Headingley, the worst display of batting seen by an England side for years. Let’s take the positives out of it, any England player using that line should he dropped and branded an idiot, there are none, you were rubbish. Bopara, waste of space, should be dropped. Cook, average for the series not good enough. Bell, not delivering. I would drop all three and try some new blood, they won’t do worse than this lot. Show some balls England and ring the changes.

An eye catching third first time up at York in a much better contest showed that Our Joe Mac is a decent sort who should improve and really ought to win this tonight, easily. 2.3 on Betfair is a decent price and a double stakes bet will be my only investment of the day and I fully expect to collect.
I hope this wins and goes some way to raising my spirits but as a big cricket fan that England performance at my home ground was depressing!
