Just One Day to Go Before York…
Lets start with the good news, York kicks off 3 days of great racing tomorrow, which features The Dante Stakes, the Musidora Stakes, The Yorkshire Cup and the Duke of York Stakes. It will be an excellent!
Today though could not be more different! There are lots of meetings but I am struggling to get excited about today. Luckily there are a couple of horses in my notebook that run today.
Yesterday was a mixed day. Stonecrabstomorrow ran well to win, the good thing did the business but Laa Rayb was an old monkey and threw his head in the air and that was that!
The best bet of the day is Mirrored, 3.50 Warwick. Sir Michael Stoute’s 3 year-old won very well on his handicap debut at Kempton and was raised 6lb by the handicapper. He took a keen hold in the early stages and I definately think there is much more to come and should follow-up today back on turf. The second in that Kempton race has won a handicap since at Goodwood, franking the form and with Ryan Moore in great form all looks well today.
Mirrored is the best bet of the day. Take an early price with William Hill and if the SP is bigger than the price you took then you get the bigger price. Plus a £25 Free Bet when you open an account!
I also like Lemon N Sugar in the 7.20 at Lingfield. She trotted up last time out is an all-weather handicap at Southwell, by over 4 lengths. If she transfers her ability to turf then she will be well handicapped today. There is no reason why she will not go just as well on turf as on the fibre sand .
Tomorrow we will Focus heavily on York….
