I have already mentioned that trainer Tom Dascombe thinks Gertmegalush (2.20 Catterick) is a useless sort and is therefore worth opposing. Having got stuck in to the cards in details this morning, I left Perth until last and was surprised, no shocked to see Lodge Lane (3.20) lining up.
Only 7 days ago Lodge Lane ran at Cheltenham and put in a terrible round of jumping before coming to grief at the last. Today he is back over 3 miles, taking the long trip to Perth to run on firm ground on which he will certainly feel any niggles that remain from that run and fall. Lodge Lane lines up against a couple of useful Novices in Jaunty Flight and The Market Man. at 3.9 to Lay this is one to take on!
